Deeper and Deeper down the Rabbit Hole. Bar 18 In which, Wufei unsuccessfully tries to adjust to normal life, with much destruction of mundane objects. They told me to take the rest of the wee off, with my full report due on Monday, after I arrived from New Dublin with the preliminary report. I wondered about their reasons. Maybe they were hoping I would be much calmer and more adjusted about this. . . stuff by Monday. If that was their plan, they failed.
I woke up, the next morning at home, tangled in my blankets and bed sheets.
